Privacy Policy
Effective date: 11 September 2026
1. Who we are
SYAC Wheels operates https://syacwheels.com, a website presenting cast and forged wheels and supporting product enquiries and business cooperation.
The organisation responsible for your personal information is Guangyuan Anyu Aluminium Wheel Co., Ltd., trading as SYAC Wheels, at No. 3 Changxing Road, Yuanjiaba, Guangyuan Economic Development Zone, Guangyuan, Sichuan, China (“SYAC”, “we”, “us”).
For privacy questions or requests, email dita@syacwheels.com with the subject “Privacy request”.
This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through this website and related enquiry communications. The website currently supports enquiries rather than online checkout; its enquiry forms do not request payment-card details.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide. When you submit an enquiry, we collect your name, email address and message. You may also provide a company name, country or market, product model, preferred specifications, vehicle details, estimated quantity and other information needed to discuss your requirements. If you contact us by email, live chat or WhatsApp, we receive the information you provide through that channel, including contact details and correspondence.
Please provide only information relevant to your enquiry. Do not include payment-card numbers, identity documents or other sensitive personal information in an initial enquiry.
Enquiry context. A form submission may include the page from which it was sent, the product and selected specifications, and campaign or referral identifiers. This helps us understand which product or request you are contacting us about.
Technical and usage information. Our website and service providers may process IP addresses, browser and device details, requested pages, access times, referring pages and information about interactions with the site. This supports site delivery, security, troubleshooting and usage measurement. The enquiry system also uses an IP-derived identifier to limit repeated submissions.
3. How we use information
We use information to:
- respond to enquiries and discuss products, specifications, quotations and cooperation;
- maintain correspondence and follow up on the request you made;
- operate and protect the website, prevent spam and investigate technical problems;
- understand website use and improve product information and the enquiry experience; and
- meet applicable record-keeping requirements and establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Submitting an enquiry authorises us to respond to that enquiry; it does not by itself subscribe you to a newsletter or give blanket permission for unrelated marketing.
Where data protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on the basis appropriate to the activity: steps you request before a contract or performance of a contract where applicable; legitimate interests in responding to business communications, operating a secure website and maintaining relevant records; legal obligations; or consent where required. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
4. Cookies, browser storage and analytics
The site and its service providers use cookies or similar technologies for functions such as security, remembering activity within a session, live chat and measuring visits. For example, the site uses session storage to support its wheel-selection and enquiry experience.
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand visits and interactions. Depending on its settings and your browser, this service may use cookies or identifiers and process page views, referral information and device or browser information. Our custom enquiry-success event records the form type and, where relevant, the product model; that custom event does not include the name, email address or message entered into the enquiry form.
You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking storage may affect some site functions and does not undo information already collected. Google also provides an Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Learn how Google handles information from partner sites in Google’s notice.
Google Analytics starts when a page is opened. The site notice lets you keep analytics enabled or reject analytics. A rejection is remembered in browser storage for 180 days, unless you clear it sooner, and prevents analytics from loading on later page views in that browser. You can reopen “Analytics settings” in the footer to change your choice. Rejecting analytics does not block live chat or email enquiry forms.
When you reject analytics, we disable further analytics collection by this site without reloading the page and clear accessible first-party Google Analytics cookies. This does not erase information already received by Google. If browser storage is unavailable or cleared, the site cannot retain the rejection and analytics may start again on a later page load. You can also manage or delete cookies through your browser settings or use Google’s opt-out browser add-on linked above.
5. Live chat, messaging and service providers
We use service providers to host and secure the site, store enquiry records, deliver enquiry email, provide live chat and measure website use. Enquiries submitted through the website are stored in our website administration system and may also be delivered to our enquiry mailbox.
Current website services include:
- SiteGround: hosting and website delivery/security services;
- Google Analytics: usage measurement;
- tawk.to: live chat, which loads as part of the site and may process technical information and visitor activity; if you use the chat, it may also process the messages and contact details you provide; and
- WhatsApp: an optional external messaging channel. Following a WhatsApp link or sending a message is also subject to WhatsApp’s own terms and privacy information.
See tawk.to’s privacy policy and WhatsApp’s privacy policy.
Access to enquiry information is intended for personnel and providers who need it to handle the enquiry or support the services described above. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or necessary to protect legal rights. If a business reorganisation affects responsibility for personal information, applicable notice and protection requirements will apply.
6. International processing
We are based in China, serve customers in different countries and use service providers that operate internationally. Your information may therefore be processed outside your country, including where our business or our providers operate. Data protection rules may differ between locations.
Where applicable law requires safeguards for an international transfer, the appropriate transfer arrangements must be in place. You can contact us for information about arrangements relevant to your data.
7. How long we keep information
We determine retention by the purpose of the information, whether an enquiry or business relationship remains active, applicable record-keeping requirements and the need to resolve disputes. Different copies held in enquiry records, email, chat services, logs and backups may have different retention arrangements.
Our retention policy is to review inactive enquiries 24 months after the last substantive contact and delete or anonymise information that is no longer needed. Information may be retained longer where an ongoing business relationship, a legal obligation or a documented dispute requires it. This is a review-based policy, rather than an automatic deletion deadline applying to every copy of a record.
You can contact us to request deletion. We may need to retain certain information for an applicable legal requirement or another permitted reason, which we will explain where relevant.
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to request access to or correction of personal information, request deletion, restrict or object to certain processing, obtain a portable copy of information, or withdraw consent. You may also have a right to complain to the relevant data protection authority.
Email dita@syacwheels.com to make a request. Describe your request and provide enough information for us to locate the relevant correspondence. We may ask for proportionate information to verify your identity and protect your information. Rights may be subject to exceptions, and we will respond within the period required by applicable law.
You may choose not to provide optional information. We need sufficient contact and request details to respond meaningfully to an enquiry.
9. Security and children
We use technical and organisational measures intended to protect personal information, including encrypted website connections and restricted access to enquiry administration. No website or communication method can guarantee absolute security.
This website is intended for business buyers and people researching wheel products, and is not directed at children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the site, contact us so we can assess and address it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our services or information-handling practices change. The effective date above will identify the current version. Where required, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent for a relevant change. Publication of a revised policy does not itself substitute for consent where consent is required.
